We are the first residential remodel in the world certified as a Living Building by the International Living Future Institute.

Our hope for the project was to:

  • Inspire and encourage others to transform their projects into Living Buildings

  • Help make this process easier for future Living Buildings, especially renovations

  • Find creative means to stitch our home into the community and to promote equity

  • Bring this site back to a state of symbiosis with the land and surrounding community
